Alta M. (Roach) Howard

Alta M. Howard, age 88, of Sabina, passed on Sunday, April 16, 2017 in Jamestown. 

Born on July 31, 1928 in Lawrence County, Ohio, she was the daughter of William and Sirilda Clark Roach. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Howard. 

Alta was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed embroidering and collecting dolls. 

She is survived by children: Rita Howard, Diana Howard, and William Howard, all of Sabina, and David (Bobbette) Howard of Wilmer, AL.  Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Shawn (Stephanie) Howard and Veda Stapleton; great grandchildren: Shawn, Cheyanne, Aiden, Olivia, Keegan, Brantley, and Aynsleigh; and siblings, Alma Graves and Stanley (Betty) Roach. 

In addition to her husband, Alta is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brandy Howard, and siblings, Imogene, Edith, Vernon, Jim, Edgar and Wayne. 

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, from 5-7pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where a funeral will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 10am.  Burial will follow at Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek.
