Barth Elzey

Barth Elzey, age 80, of Washington Court House, passed away May 20, 2016 peacefully at home.

Born July 3, 193,5 in Sabina, he was the son of William and Dorothy Elzey. Barth is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Knisley Elzey.

A graduate of Sabina High School, Barth enjoyed working at gas stations and talking to his customers. He also loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his beloved dog, Bugzee. He enjoyed listening to country and gospel music.

Also surviving are his children: Barth (Carmal) Elzey of Midland, Gregg (Michelle) Elzey, Sherry Brown and Randy (Kathy) Elzey all of Washington Court House; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Barth was preceded in death by brothers, William, Jim and Frank, and a son in-law, Harry Brown.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Friends may call from 11:00 until the time of service. Burial will be in the Sabina Cemetery.
