Betty Ann (Davis) Lovett

Betty Ann Lovett, 79, of Dayton, passed on September 16, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. 

Born in Wilmington, OH on May 24, 1937, she was the oldest child of Daniel Davis, Sr. and Edith Nance Davis. 

Betty, AKA “Miss Butterfly”, was a graduate of Wilmington High School, retired from Hewitt Soap Company after 30+ years of service.  She loved playing the lottery and BINGO and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. 

Betty is survived by her daughters, Michelle Glynn of Atlanta, GA and Aquilla Glynn of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Temple Glynn of Atlanta and Che (Loretta) Glynn of Fairborn, OH; and great-grandson, Taveian Glynn.  Also left to cherish her memory are siblings: Donald (Lydia) Davis, Arnold (Barbara) Davis, Learfrances Simon, Carlton (Linda) Davis, Pamela Anderson, Nathaniel Davis, L. Kay Scott, and Mark Davis; along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Dean Davis, Jr.

Family will receive friends at the Wilmington Church of God on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 11-12Noon, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
