Billie Jean Kenney

January 1, 1933 ~ August 14, 2016 (age 83) 83 Years Old

Billie Jean Kenney, age 83, passed Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Autumn Years in Sabina. 

Born in Four Mile, KY on January 1, 1933, Billie was the daughter of Susie Jones Hopkins and James Harve Hopkins and raised by Susie Hopkins Parsell and Wayne Parsell.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Kenney, whom she married on April 19, 1954. 

She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Billie was an avid lover of cats and dogs, a member of Clinton County REACT, ran a restaurant called S&K on Fife Ave. with her sister ‘Cat’, and enjoyed gospel music. 

Surviving are her children: Debbie (Wayne) Wilkin of Wilmington, Tony Kenney of New Vienna, and Alice (Rob) Hill of Cincinnati.  Also left to cherish her memory grandchildren, Mandy (Canaan) Martin, Marissa Wilkin, Sarah (Josh) Bratton, Eli (Ashley) Kenney, Justin and Jeremy Grimes, and Derek Hill; and great-grandchildren, Dakota, James, Jacob, Jude, Madelyn and Matthew; and one brother, Ron Parsell; along with numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Yolanda.

In addition to her husband, Billie is preceded by her daughter in law, Tammy Kenney and siblings: Hazel, Thelma, Brucille ‘Cat’, and Wilma. 

Funeral services will be at Littleton Funeral Home on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 12 Noon.  Friends may call from 10:30am until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Clinton Memory Gardens.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Community Care Hospice or the Wounded Warrior Project.
