I am sorry that I did not see this earlier. My connections to Wilmington aren't what they used to be. Shelley, I am sorry for your loss. That's one of the drawbacks of growing older; we lose people we love at a rapid rate. But, because of God's promises, we know it is only temporary. Your parents were great people and you were blessed to have them. Best wishes.

I knew Mr. Stephens from Kroger Pharmacy and got to chat with him at Autumn Years during Mrs. Stephens time there. What a wonderful man, and very kind. And I really enjoyed seeing his carvings. Sending thoughts and prayers for your loss.

Shelley and Randy, I was saddened to read of your father’s passing. I have fond memories of him. I have two small hand craved hogs on my living room bookcase that your father carved. I always remember him and think of my wonderful growing up days outside of Port William because of wonderful people like your family. May God give you grace in the days ahead and sweet memories of your father.

Many prescious memories of worship at Port William Church and always seeing Billy's smile, I will never forget him and Marilyn, they were such an asset to the community. I have a wooden cross and a beautiful carving of St Nicholas that he made and think of him every time I see them. God bless you Billy, till we meet again.
