Doris 'Jean' (Moomaw) Aldridge

Doris Jean Aldridge, 82, of Sabina, died on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, surrounded by her loving family. 
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Glatis Aldridge.  They were married on April 20, 1957. 
Jean was born on May 25, 1934 in Highland County, the daughter of George Moomaw and Dora Dawson Moomaw.  She graduated in 1952 from McClain High School in Greenfield.  Jean was a homemaker and an amazing cook.  She enjoyed hosting holiday dinners, growing a garden, and watching the wildlife in her yard. 
Jean is survived by her three children: Jeff (Lori) Aldridge of Lebanon, Bev (Tony) Harper of Grove City, and David (Penny) Aldridge of Grove City; four grandchildren: Dan Aldridge of Lebanon, Ellen Aldridge of Chicago, Andy Harper of Grove City, and Tori (Karl Duane) Kean of Pickerington; and sister, Carol Davis of Greenfield. 
In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Moomaw. 
The funeral service will be conducted at 1pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016,  at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.  Friends may call from 12 Noon until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Greenfield Cemetery.  Please visit www.littletonfuneralhome.com for condolences.
