Everett 'Gene' Teeters

September 25, 1947 ~ November 15, 2017 (age 70) 70 Years Old

Everett ‘Gene’ Teeters, 70, of Leesburg, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, surrounded by family. 

Born in Highland County on September 25, 1947, he was the son of Clyde and Hazel 'Jones' Teeters.

Gene was a 1966 graduate of Fairfield Local High School and was in the Air Force Reserves.  He was a devoted Christian and a good and faithful servant of the Lord.  Gene was a longtime antique dealer and auction owner.  He also enjoyed being a driver for RV Transports located in Topeka, IN. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Teresa ‘Dove’ Teeters.  The two were married on September 12, 1970. 

Also left to cherish Gene’s memory is son, Brady Teeters; granddaughter, Emily Teeters; sisters, Phyllis (Ron) Page and Carolyn Sayers; and brother, Richard (Judy) Teeters; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Gene is preceded in death by brothers in-law, Bill Sayers and Dale Dawes. 

Friends may call at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, from 4-7pm, and may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 11-11:30am to join in the procession to White Oak Cemetery; graveside services commencing at 12Noon. 

Memorial contributions would be greatly appreciated to the funeral home to help cover final expenses.
