Tony Lee Meyer

Tony Lee Meyer, age 58, of Defiance, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2017. 

Born September 21, 1958, in Geneva, New York, Tony was the son of the late James ‘Buck’ Doyle  and Ramona and Ron Meyer, of Wilmington

Tony was a certified motorcycle mechanic and had a true passion for riding motorcycles.  He could often be spotted riding with his beloved canine companion, Beth, tucked in his jacket.  Beth was even prepared with appropriate gear – a hat and goggles!  He greatly enjoyed any time spent with his family and liked to fish. 

Tony is survived by his siblings: Teresa Meyer of Wilmington, Nicky (Zack) Robb of Hillsboro, Troy (Christina) Meyer of Anderson, and Ron Meyer of Hillsboro.  Also left to cherish his memory are nieces and nephews: Tiera, Brandon, Dakota, Klay and Emma; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved Beth. 

He is preceded by his grandparents and sister and brother in-law, Marla and Larry Frye. 

A memorial service, in honor of Tony's life, will be held at the Wilmington Baptist Church in Wilmington on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at 3pm.  Friends may call one hour prior.
