Billy J. Blanton

Billy James Blanton, age 36, of Elmwood Place, Ohio, and previously Sabina, passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. 

Born on April 13, 1983, he was the son of Danny and Patricia Hardwick Blanton, who survive in Independence, KY. 

Bill attended East Clinton High School and was a former member of the Sabina Scouts.  He worked, as a master craftsman carpenter, for 18 years.  Bill enjoyed singing and playing his guitar; target shooting with his rifle; was a proud Republican and was known to experiment with fireworks.  He was happiest drinking beer and spending time with his friends and family.  A dependable man, Bill would often lend his hand to help others with their projects – often free of charge – after finishing a day of work.  He never had a bad word to say about anyone.  His caring demeanor will certainly be missed by those who know him. 

In addition to his parents, Bill leaves behind his children: two daughters, Presley Blanton of Walton, KY and Evelyn Blanton of Independence, KY and, two sons, Brandon Norris of Sabina and Billy James Blanton, Jr. of Dallas, TX.  Also left to cherish his memory are sisters, Kelli (Larry) Garrison of Martinsville and Jessi Blanton of Sabina; one brother, Trevor (April) Blanton, Sr. of Independence, KY; nieces and nephews: Kyle, Samantha, Kody and Logan Huston; Emily, Kaytlin and Garrett Fannin; and Trevor Blanton, Jr.; and special friend and mother to Evelyn, Katherine Mack. 

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Littleton Funeral Home, in order to help with final expenses. 

Friends may call at Littleton Funeral Home on Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 2-3:30pm, when a memorial service will begin. Family will have a social gathering at the Sabina Church of Christ COVE following the service.
