Dick and I graduated in 1949 from Sabina High School. I knew him very well in his formative years. He loved horses and was a good friend to all of his classmates. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to know him. He will be missed.

I just heard of Dick's passing. My sympathy to his daughters and family. I used to run barrels in the OGBRA in the 70's (as a little girl) and knew Dick from those days. Later, after I stopped showing horses, he bought my horse "Eagle" and ran barrels & poles with him. I remember being at Quarter Horse Congress and Dick & Eagle placing in the pole bending and he gave me the medal he won. I would always see Dick at the Congress whenever I visited. He was "good people". He will be missed.

So sorry to hear Dick had passed away. When we got into horses Dick was one of the first people we got to know even though we had pleasure horses. He became a very good friend. .

Dick was indeed a memorable individual. He was in my brother John's class at Sabina HS and his teenage antics caused great attention. At that young age he was indeed a fine
person....evidenced by his life lone accomplishments.
