Phyllis H. (Bradley) Anderson

Phyllis Harriet (Bradley) Anderson, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, September 29, 2017, with family members by her side.

She was preceeded in death by her husband Russell, of 58 years. The two met while attending a church dance and married on April 26, 1946.

The daughter of Clifton and Miriam Austin Bradley, Phyllis was brought up in her beloved Jamestown, R.I. and upon graduating from high school at the age of 16, she and her family moved to Hanover MA.  Following their marriage, Russell and Phyllis spent their summers at The Cape on Peter’s Pond Park and their winters in Florida, before making their home in Wilmington, OH in 1988. 

Phyllis will be greatly missed by her seven children; Cindy Prill (Gary), Brad Anderson (Diane), Randy Anderson, Debi Hall (whom she resided with), Denise Freeman, Robin Garman (Lester), and Todd Anderson (Emese). Phyllis was blessed to have had 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and her very best caregivers and friends: Abbey Mercer and Jennie Hancock. She is also survived by a brother, Jonathan Bradley (Cordane), of Maine.

In addition to her husband, she is also preceded by her sister, Cynthia Herrera of New Jersey.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 10:30 at the Richland United Methodist Church, Melvin Ohio.  Family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5-7 p.m., at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Burial will be in the Centerville cemetery, Lees Creek. Memorial contributions  are suggested to Hospice of Dayton.
