Born July 29, 1917, in Dayton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edna Beck.

Virginia graduated from Beavercreek High School and went on to graduate from Miami University in Oxford, with a teaching degree.  She taught in the Beavercreek School System and the East Clinton Schools for a total of 15 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of over 53 years, Don L. Siders, as well as her brothers, Robert Beck and William Beck, both of Beavercreek.

She was a devoted wife and mother.  Virginia was a member of the Lumberton United Methodist Church until it closed, and then merged with Eleazer United Methodist.  She was also a member of the Port William – Lumberton Senior Citizens.

Virginia is survived by her son, Daryl (Linda) Siders, of Xenia, and her daughter, Donna Ryder, of Burlington, Kentucky.  Also left to cherish her memory are five grandchildren: Seth (Emily) Siders, of Parker, CO; Sara (Tommy) Floyd, of Louisville, KY; Jennifer (Bryan) Kelley, of Atlanta, GA; Brian (Cara) Taylor, of Austin, TX; and Brett (Gretchen) Taylor, of Dublin, OH.  She also leaves 12 great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly: Eva, Isabella, Jack, Cash, Cooper, Gillian, Everett, Everleigh, Anderson, Zoe, Clark, and Lucy.

Virginia’s family would like to thank the Quaker Heights Care Community and Miami Valley Hospice for the loving and attentive care received.
