Bill was a very kind person. We had fun in meetings at the Kroger Call Center. I would have loved to know him even better. My thoughts and prayers are with his family who he spoke highly of and loved very much. He was looking forward to his future at Kroger and was great roll model for others in the way he treated others. I'm glad I got to know him. He will be missed at work. God Bless!

Deepest condolences to Bill's family! One of the kindest, sweetest man I have known. Would come to bowling alley when I worked there and help myself and Melissa when we were busy by cleaning off tables for us and even delivered my daughters surprise car to her 16th birthday party for me..that was over 20 years ago. Heaven has gained one of the best. RIP..fly high my friend

Please except my condolences, I am so sorry for your loss. May the Lord be with you all during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of getting to know Bill while working with him at the Kroger Call Center. I will miss the UBER stories, out-of-the-blue chuckles, positive attitude, willingness to help, his contagious laugh, along with his witty comebacks. May he rest in eternal peace.

Bill had stayed in touch with me through Facebook. He and my sister Bonnie attended church together. Many fond memories of our family watching Tammy, Bill, and Max when we lived in Sabina and maybe even a few times in New Vienna. Always full of laughter. Unable to attend his memorial services because of distance but my heart will be with all if you. May we all influence others as Bill did by sharing God's gifts.

I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing, I just spoke with him at Kroger Comp. pinic at Coney on July 14th, and to hear about this is upsetting. Bill was a character for sure, we worked together at the call center, also mentored together before he moved to the other side of Kroger to be a pharmacy tech. My heart breaks for you family. I hope you soon find comfort! God bless and prayers.

I usually do not write things like this, but for some reason i felt compelled to share a few memories that I have. One of the memories that I have is when we would all set around the table at Joe's and play Eucre on Monday Evenings. There would be Rick, myself, Billy Bob and various other people to make up a group of four players. Our conversations would range from politics to religion and even current events around town and our nation.

During all the time we spent playing cards and doing some volunteer work I cannot recall even one incident where he would say something rude or hateful. In fact I do not remember him being judgemental.

There would be times where we would set at the table and have a meal together after we were done serving those who were there. I could see that he genuinely enjoyed his time there when he volunteered his efforts. I have to say this that there is no one quite like Billy Bob.

I gave him the name Billy Bob when I first met him a number of years ago. Unfortunately, I do not recall the details how that came to be.

Your work on this planet is now finished. Let us cross the river and rest 'neath the shade of trees.

Yes, I agree that we all could take some lessons from him. I cherish the time we had setting at the table playing cards. We would talk about anything and everything and yet he was a gentle soul even though he may disagree with you at times. However, he was formidable opponent when it came to playing cards.

At the heart of it all, he was about helping those who were in need.
