Alice Jo (Penwell) Wilt

Alice Jo Wilt, 86, of Sabina, passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Autumn Years.

Born in Ross County on August 20, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Penwell and Elsie Lucille Grogg.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Orlyn L. Wilt, who passed on November 11, 1998.  The two were married on July 22, 1950.

Alice was a member of the Sabina Church of Christ.  She worked at Ferno Washington for more than twenty years.  Alice was a sewing machinist and made clothes for her children and grandchildren.  She was the one of the founding members of TOPS, Sabina, a member of several different knitting clubs, the VFW Auxiliary, and both Sabina and Wilmington Senior Citizens.

Alice is survived by her children: Donna (John) Rolston of Sabina, Linda (Andy) Freeman of Seymour, IN, and Jeff Wilt, Luci (Neal) Flint, and Wendi (Rob) Dean, all of Sabina.  Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Shari (Joe Hardin) Rolston, John C. (Jodi) Rolston, Michael Williams, Tami (Aaron) Newby, Jaclyn Wilt, Patrick Wilt, Wesley (Jami) Flint, Nikki (Shawn) Zielinski, Olivia (Caleb) Brown, Monica (Jared Rex) Flint, Kayla (Kevin) Troute, and Joshua (Chasity) Dean; 19 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Lou Mallott; brother in-law, Neil Wilt; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Alice is preceded in death by her step-father, Ted Smith; brother, Fred T. Penwell; and dear friend, Clarence Taylor.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Autumn Years Activities Dept.,  Sabina Church of Christ, and Sabina Senior Citizens.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 11, 2018, from 2-5pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where a funeral service will take place at 10:30am on Monday, November 12, 2018.  Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery.
