Alisha Nell Grove Cebull, 38, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on October 15, 2026.

Alisha was born in Wilmington on March 1, 1988, to Jayme (Anders) Hochhausler and Richard Grove, and was the stepdaughter of Tom Hochhausler.

She was a devoted wife to her husband, Carlos Cebull, and an extraordinary mother to their two children, Nicolas and Olivia. More than anything, Alisha loved her family and the life they built together.

She was a 2006 East Clinton graduate and continued her education, receiving a bachelor’s degree from Otterbein College. Alisha found her calling as a wedding planner, a career that reflected her gift for bringing people together and creating beautiful moments. She loved traveling and new experiences, and she also made ordinary days at home feel special, hosting holidays, birthdays, and gatherings filled with care.

She will be remembered for the way she loved, the steadiness she brought, and the countless lives she touched.

In addition to her husband and children, Alisha is survived by her parents; her in-laws, Anthony and Luz Maria Cebull; brother in-law, Alex Cebull; maternal grandmother, Janet (Bryan Durost) Arehart; paternal grandmother, Shirley Grove Rittenhouse; aunts: Kristen Phillips and Charissa Summers; uncles: Tim Anders and Doug (Rose) Grove; and a host of extended family members and beloved friends.

Alisha was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Richard ‘Dick’ Anders, Charles Richard ‘Dick’ Grove, and Jack Rittenhouse.

Though her life was far too short, Alisha filled it with love, family, meaningful work, and beautiful memories.

A private funeral service will be held for Alisha’s family. Burial will take place at Sabina Cemetery, Sabina.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Alisha’s memory consider making a donation to Brighter Blue, a charity supporting families affected by colorectal cancer. Donations may be made in Alisha’s honor through Brighter Blue.
