Anna Lee (Mercer) Lehman, 74, of Sabina, passed away on March 10, 2023, under the care of Bridge Hospice in Findlay, Ohio after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born on April 28, 1948, to the late Thomas “Tom” and Edith (Haines) Mercer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers - William “Bill” Mercer, Jerry Ferguson, and an unnamed child who died in infancy – and a special nephew, Thomas “Tommy” Ferguson. She is survived by a daughter, Luann (Brook) Edwards, and three grandsons – Joseph, Thomas, and Christopher Edwards – all of Tiffin, Ohio. In addition to her family, she leaves behind a band of fiercely loyal friends and neighbors who helped her through her cancer journey, taking her to countless appointments, helping her at home, making frequent phone calls just to check in, and fostering the independence she valued for as long as possible. Each one of them is loved and appreciated more than they will ever know. Also left to cherish her memory are three grand dogs who will miss the treats she used to sneak to them under the table when she thought no one was looking. Honoring her final wishes, there will be no funeral services. Burial near her parents in New Market Baptist Cemetery will be private and at the discretion of family. She was an avid crafter for most of her life and made beautiful thread crochet ornaments and doilies. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of art and craft supplies are made to a local school, church, or nursing home of the donor’s choosing in her name. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina is in charge of arrangements.
