Arthur "Art" R. Back

Arthur “Art” R. Back, 86 of Wilmington, passed away on Friday evening, January 6, 2023 at Miami Valley Medical Center. Born September 18, 1936, in Menifee KY the son of Clyde and Inez Wells Back. He is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Shirley Harrison Back. After high school Art worked at the Ford Plant until entering the Army. After the Army he had worked at Kimberly Clark and eventually retired from General Motors as an electrician after many years. Art loved his family and loved spending time with them teaching many lessons in life and how to fix things. He was an outdoorsman and especially loved to deer hunt. In addition to his wife Shirley he is survived by his daughters; Allyson (Bill) Powell, Sharon Back all of Springboro and June (Michael) Waits of Bowling Green, KY. Grandchildren; Lindsey, Allen, Garrett (Amanda), Shane, Brandon (Heather), Jessica (Justin), Bradley and Jason. Also, great grandchildren; Devyn, Dylan, Callie, Addyson, Julian, Kaylee, Willow, Piper, Norah, Ashlyn and Jace. Siblings; Pauline Abrams, Gordon (Janet) Back and William (Patty) Back. Preceded by sister, Geraldine Back and brother, Marvin Back. Visitation will be on Saturday January 21, 2023 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at Noon.   Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery.  After the burial service, a gathering of friends and family will be held at 1985 Roxanna -New Burlington Rd. Waynesville the doors will be opened at 1:30 and the family will be there following the committal and honor guard service.
