Betty J. (Kingery) Bartruff

Betty Bartruff, age 96, of Washington Court House, passed away on Thursday evening, March 4, 2021, at home, surrounded by her family.

She was born December 24, 1924, in Fayette County. the daughter of Joseph and Cleva Bruce Kingery.

Betty was a homemaker who loved to play bingo and sew.  She also enjoying her flowers, family, and dogs.  Betty loved to hunt, cook and eat mushrooms. She had worked with her sister, in their sewing shop, in Washington Court House and, also, at Stop 35 for a time.

She is survived by her children: Ward Alan (Brenda), Dan, Rick (Rita), Jackie Sue, Bruce (Tammy) and James Bartruff all of Washington Court House and Robert (Ruby) Bartruff of Leesburg. Also left to cherish her memory are 14 grandchildren and 2 grand dogs, also 13 great and 2 great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded by a daughter in law, Vicki Bartruff; former husband: Ward Bartruff; and siblings: Annetta, Mary, Dorothy, Johnny, Frank, Martha, Roy, Joseph and Elmer.

Family will receive friends on Monday, March 8, 2021, from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 1:00 p.m. with burial in the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.
