Brian S. McPherson

Brian Stephen McPherson, age 64, of Sabina, passed away very unexpectedly, at home, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, just three days after the loss of his beloved wife, Marcia.

Born in Wilmington on April 5, 1962, he was the son of James McPherson and Romayne (John) Hays.

A graduate of Lynchburg High School, Brian was employed at PC Connections. He loved to work and always had a job. Brian could make nearly anything and enjoyed arts and craft projects. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Heartbroken by his sudden passing and left to cherish Brian’s memory are daughter, Sherrie Kidder of Sabina; grandchildren: Logan Davis of Wilmington, Arisa (Randy) Young of Martinsville, Alex (Trish) Spears of Columbus, Hayley Kidder of Sabina, Andrea Spears of Washington Court House, and Austin (Trinity) Arellano of Sabina; along with greatgrandchildren: Bentley, Oaklynn and Kaden.

He is also survived by brothers: Clay (Bev) McPherson of Hillsboro, Mark McPherson of Marion, and Doug (Connie) McPherson of Xenia.

Brian was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Drake McPherson; it's only fitting that they would be reunited so quickly, after spending 42 years together.  He was also preceded by daughters: Carla Jean Drake and Debra Olwin.

A celebration of Brian and Marcia’s lives will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Clinton Memory Garden, Wilmington. Littleton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
