Catherine H. (Falda) Wikoff

Catherine H. Wikoff, 101, of Washington C.H. passed away on Saturday morning, January 20, 2018, at Court House Manor.

Born October 10, 1916, in Boston, she was the daughter of Henry and Marie Schaffert Falda.

A graduate of Jamaica Plaines High School, Catherine received her Bachelor’s Degree from University of Pittsburgh, and her Master’s Degree from Duquesne University.  She retired as a third grade teacher.  Her many interests included reading, going to lectures,  classical music, traveling the world, and enjoying good wine and food.

She is survived by her children Diane (Kathy Barden) Matticks of Washington C.H. and David (Liz) Wikoff of Denver, CO.

Also left to cherish Catherine’s memory are 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.

There will be no local services.  Burial will be at a later date in the Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
