Charlene (Arey) Kessler

Charlene Kessler, age 81, of Sabina, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Autumn Years Nursing Center.

Born in Adams County on December 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruby Hoop Arey.

Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Kessler.  The two were married on December 24, 1954.  Together, they had four children: Debbie Kellis, Dusty (Karen), Rusty (Ngan) and Joe (Paige) Kessler, all who survive in Sabina.

Charlene was a devoted wife and homemaker.  She was a member of the Sabina Church of Christ.

In addition to her children, Charlene is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a brother, David Arey, of Peebles.

She also preceded in death by a sister, Jo Ann Hayslip.

A private graveside committal will be held at White Oak Grove Cemetery in Buena Vista, at the convenience of the family.
