Charles A. Kingery

Charles Arthur Kingery, age 83, of Octa, passed peacefully on Monday, March 1, 2021.

Born in Jasper Township on December 16, 1937, he was the son of the late Elmer and Mildred Joslen Kingery.

Charlie was an Army Veteran and served during the Korean conflict.  He was a retired mechanic from Marting Manufacturing.  Charlie attended the former Octa Methodist Church.

He is survived by two daughters: Tobi Fraley of Octa and JoAnn Holland of Oklahoma City, OK.  Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Heather Ruggiero, Tristan Holland, Schuylar Holland, Daniel Fraley, Kelsey Fraley, and Jesse Fraley; great grandchildren: Wylie Charles, Lorelai, Zoey, Leon, Kinzie, Lily, and Eli; along with brother, George Kingery of Octa.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer L. "Junior" Kingery, Jr.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the family to help with medical expenses.

Family will receive friends from 5 pm – 7 pm on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Littleton Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:30 pm.  Burial to follow at Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.
