Cheryl L. Bernard, age 72, of New Vienna, passed peacefully at home on Friday, October 30, 2026.
Born in Wilmington on January 11, 1954, she was the daughter of Cecil and Irene Knauff Puckett.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles ‘Chuck’ Bernard.
A graduate of East Clinton, Cheryl went on to work at, and retire from, Airborne Express.
In addition to her husband, Cheryl is survived by their sons: Jason Scott (Stephanie) Bernard and Brandon (Melissa) Bernard. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Ashlee, Andrew and Kylie; and sisters, Sheila (John) Taylor and Shirley (John) Davis.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her son, Rodney, and sister, Sharon.
Private burial will take place at Sabina Cemetery. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with assisting the Bernard family.
