Curtis L. Parks, age 59, of Lynchburg, passed unexpectedly at home on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Born March 16, 1965, in Clinton County, he was the son of the late Morris ‘Joe’ and Mary Ellis Parks.
Curtis was a 1983 graduate of Wilmington High School and went on to serve in the Army for 8 years. Following his service, he worked at ABX for 28 years and had been a driver for R+L for the last 8 years. Curtis loved ‘sitting and thinking’ on his back porch and spending time with his beloved children and grandson.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Frank Parks. Also left to cherish his memory are their children: Hannah (Patrick) Stumpf of Milford, Samuel Curtis Parks of Lynchburg, and Nathaniel (Lauren Gardner) Parks of Dodsonville; grandson, Cason Henry Parks; mother and father in-law, Walter and Ruth Frank; along with nieces, Desteny (Landon) Phillips and Caylee Murphy, and their families.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Wade.
Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 10am until the time of service at 12 Noon. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
