Dan Boisel, age 73, of New Holland, passed away on Saturday May 24, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Washington Court House on March 7, 1952; and was preceded by his parents, Shirley and Fred Gaylord and Robert Boisel.
Dan is survived by his wife, Betty Smith Boisel, whom he married in 1971.
After attending Miami Trace Schools for most of his childhood, he had graduated from East Clinton High School in 1971.
He had just retired, last week, from Ag-Pro after 18 years. Dan had previously worked at Bush Chevrolet for 25 years, and also had been employed with Kinsley Pontiac, Watson Motor Sales and Roney’s Auto Parts.
He had many hobbies including, boating, car shows, playing the guitar, working on tractors and fixing his GTOs. Dan had attended the former Gregg St. Church and Heritage Memorial Church.
In addition to his wife, Dan is survived by his children: Elizabeth “Lizzy” (Chris) West of Frankfort and Danny (Kathy) Boisel II of Washington Court House; his little dog buddy, Levi; along with several grandchildren and one on the way. Surviving siblings include Terry (Bill) Baker of Dayton, Kim (Mark) Gollihue of Columbus, Kathy Richards of Columbus and Francene Gaylord of Washington Court House.
Visitation will be on Tuesday May 27, 2025, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M
A graveside service will be on Wednesday morning at 11:00 A.M. at the Bush Cemetery.
