David Cole

David Cole, age 69, of Hillsboro, passed away at home on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Born in Wilmington on June 30, 1955, he was the son of Perry Cole and Marjorie (Darrell) Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lisa Corder Cole.

David was a 1974 graduate of Clinton Massie High School.  He attended Louisville Community Church in Peebles.  David loved horses, coon hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, left to cherish his memory are children: Jason Grant, Casey (Clint) Lucas, Erin Hicks, Chad (Whitney) Runyon and Todd (Janielle) Runyon; grandchildren: Madalyn, Landon, Lauren, Braxton, Malachi, Chelsie, Ethan and Bryson; along with great-grandchildren: Jossilyn and Madilyn.  David is also survived by siblings: Carolyn Everman and Wes (Claudia) Mitchell; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.

David was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Walter (Sue) Long.

A visitation will be held at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 12pm – 2pm, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial, at Sugar Tree Ridge Cemetery, will take place privately
