Debra N. (Hensley) Olwin

Debra Nicole Olwin, age 43, of Columbus, passed unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

Born in Wilmington on April 28, 1979, she was the daughter of the late Loftie Hensley and Marcia (Brian) McPherson, of Sabina.

An East Clinton graduate, Debbie overcame a lot of personal struggles in her life and battled multiple health issues.  She loved to shop at thrift stores, talking on the phone, watching horror movies, collecting anything she could, and loved her dogs: Max, Miley, Emily, and Raz.  Debbie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her beloved children.

In addition to her mother and step-father, Debbie is survived by her children: Alex (Trish Slawson) Spears of Columbus, Andrea Spears of North Carolina, and Austin Arellano of Sabina; long time boyfriend, Roe Duran of Columbus; sister, Sherrie (Nick) Kidder of Sabina; brother, James Hensley of Kentucky; along with several nieces, nephews, a great nephew, and a host of additional family members.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Jeannie Drake.

A celebration gathering of Debbie’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
