Debra 'Debbi' Sue (Harner) Floyd

Debra ‘Debbi’ Sue Floyd, age 66, of Wilmington, entered into the arms of the Lord on December 2, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was born May 2, 1957, in Fayette County to the late Charles Harner and Betty L. Harner.

On April 24, 1976, Debbi married Charles Floyd.

Debbi was a loving mother and grandmother to her children, grandchildren, and great grandson.  For many years she was a stay-at-home mom.  Once her children were older, she worked many years and retired from Randall Textron. Her greatest job of all was babysitting her grandchildren.  Debbi loved all her friends and family unconditionally.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles Floyd of Wilmington.  Also left to cherish her memory are their daughters: Chari (Jeremy) Hughes of Xenia and Amber (Joe) Breedlove of Wilmington; stepsons: Ronald (Elicia) Floyd of Dayton and Greg Floyd of Delaware; grandchildren: Kaili Perry, Autumn Perry, Blake Hughes, Marthea Newport, Tyler (Ellen) Breedlove, Alex Newport, Ashlynn Breedlove, Karlie Breedlove, Breanna Black, Skylar Floyd, and Dallas Floyd; along with great-grandson, Wyatt Griffin.  Also surviving are sisters: Becky (Randy) Stroud and Toni (Larry) Knox of Washington Court House; step-siblings: Amy (Derek) Winters, Terry (Sally) Wilson, and Brad (Lisa) wilson; sisters in-law: Angie Harner, Joy (late Gene) Powers, Janie (late Ben) Briggs, Nancy (late Ed) Earley; brother in-law Mike (Carol) Floyd, many nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as her good friend of 40+ years Sue Hocket and her special fur baby, Mira May.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by stepfather, Dale Wilson, brother, Chuck Harner, and sister in-law Marianne ‘Ticky’ Adams.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Hospice of Dayton.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 5-7pm at Littleton Funeral Home, where a funeral service will take place on Thursday at 10am.  Burial to follow at White Oak Cemetery, Buena Vista.
