Dennis J. Goodbar, age 69, of Bowersville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at his home.
Born January 11, 1951, in Dayton, he was the son of the late James and Loretta Sanderson Goodbar.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Bonnie Brannum Goodbar. The two were married in 1973.
Denny was a graduate of Greeneview High School and the Louisville Technical College. He retired from ABX Air as an IT tech, coached little league for several years and was the former fire chief of the Jefferson Township Fire Dept.
He is survived by his son Shaun (Jomi) Goodbar of Wilmington and grandchildren, Colby and Corrine.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was also preceded in death by his brother, Steven Goodbar.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family and burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville.
