Donald Gibson Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026. He was born on November 11, 1944, to Donald and Myrtle Gibson, both of whom preceded him in death.

Donald was united in marriage to the love of his life, Pamela Clark Gibson, on June 18, 1965.  Pamela preceded him in death.

Donald retired from GE Aviation–Elano in Beavercreek, Ohio, after a long and fulfilling career. He was a member of Richland Methodist Church and was a proud and dedicated member of the Masonic fraternity. He was a member of Sabina Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite, Valley of Cincinnati. One of his greatest honors was achieving the distinction of being a 33rd Degree Mason.

Donald enjoyed golfing and especially cherished spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed meeting friends for lunch in Cincinnati and making the most of the friendships and relationships that meant so much to him. He will be remembered for the time he shared with those he loved and the lasting friendships he made throughout his life.

He is survived by his two daughters, Rhonda (Tony) Wilson and Jennifer (Tod) Adkins.

Donald is also survived by his grandchildren: Michael (Maria) Wilson of Guam; Connor (Amanda) Wilson of Wilmington; Brad (Megan) Davis of Wilmington; Brice (Emma) Davis of Wilmington; and Brandon (Marissa Williams) Davis of Wilmington.

He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Caroline Jean Wilson, Jackson Brooks Wilson, Bristol Jean Davis, Jameson Ray Davis, and Micah Moses Davis, with four additional great-grandchildren to arrive in the future.

Donald is also survived by his step-grandchildren, Amanda (Tyler) Lovedahl and their children; Samantha (Shane) Hughes and their children; and Seth (Kirsten) Adkins.

He is survived by his siblings, Arthur (Chris) Gibson and Janet Allington, as well as many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents and wife, Donald was preceded in death by his sister, Goldie Stevens, and his grandchild, Brittany Christen Davis.

Donald will be deeply missed by his family, friends, fellow Masons, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and, most especially, through the family he loved so dearly.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
