Doris M. Florea

Doris M. Florea, age 95, of Wilmington, passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville.

Born in Peebles on February 25, 1930, she was the daughter of John Chester and Goldie (Stultz) Storer.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harvey Florea.  The two wed on June 4, 1950.  

Doris was a homemaker and worked at First National Bank in Wilmington. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Wilmington Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her children: Jerry (Susie) Florea of Martinsville and Susan (Robert) Ott of St. Augustine, Florida; grandchildren: Heidi (Jack) Piechocki of Wilmington, Dan (Rebecca) Ott and Denise (Steve) Beets, all of Cincinnati; and greatgrandchildren: Addison, Andy, Amos, Annie, Acie, Libby, Cameron, Cade and Austin.

A graveside service at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, will take place at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) or Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. Littleton Funeral Home is serving the family.
