Dorothy A. Taylor, age 88, of Wilmington, passed peacefully at The Christ Hospital on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
Born May 1, 1937, the daughter of the late Robert and Doris (Swisshelm) Kendall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. ‘Bo’ Taylor.
Dorothy was an accountant and worked as an auditor of payroll for National Bank and Trust. She enjoyed reading, sewing and cross stitching. Dorothy was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Wilmington.
She is survived by her son, Donald ‘Jerry’ (Carla) Taylor, Jr.; son in-law, Richard Boylan; and sister, Peggy Kendall.
In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra ‘Debby’ Taylor, and siblings: Leatha Schroeder, Erma Crider, Robert Kendall and Alfred Kendall.
Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the First Christian Church in Wilmington, where a funeral service will take place at 11am. Burial to follow at New Antioch Cemetery. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
