Dorothy M. (Funk) Lansing

Dorothy M. Lansing, age 79, of New Vienna, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, May 31, 2021, at Bethesda North Hospital.

Born February 4,1942, in Sabina, she was the daughter of George and Dorothy Tucker Funk.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Lansing whom she married June 21, 1959 on August 19, 2016.

Dorothy had worked at Mac Tools, Allied Technology, Crystaco before retiring from Airborne. She is a member of the New Martinsburg Community Church, loved to can, sew and shop yard sales.

She is survived by her daughters: Wilma (Gary) Rahmlow, of Sabina, Cecile (Tim) Burns, Lisa Lowman and Kelly Johnson all of Wilmington. Also left to cherish Dorothy's memory are grandchildren: Zackary (Samantha) Adams, Matthew (Nicole) Rahmlow, Nathan (Gertrude) Rahmlow, Brittany, Aysha and Catlin Lowman, Molly and Brady Leathley and B.J. (Vanessa) Burns; 15 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Mona Stump of Hillsboro, Pam (Bill) Earley of Leesburg, Wayne Funk of KY and Elmer Funk of Goshen.

In addition to her beloved husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a grandson, T.J. Burns, and brothers: George Funk, Charles Funk and Mike Funk.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sabina Cemetery.
