Dorothy 'Dottie' Jean (Porter) Jarrell

Dorothy Jean ‘Dottie’ Jarrell, age 62, of Sabina passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Born in Springfield on August 22, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Dana and Carol Brannan Porter.

Dottie is survived by her husband, Johnny Jarrell.

A graduate of Madison Plaines High School, Dottie worked at Sears Distribution and YUSA in Quality Control.

In addition to her husband, Dottie is survived by daughter, Cathy (James) Widen of Sabina; granddaughter Jayden Salifu; and siblings: Debbie (Butch) Rainey of Pt. Pleasant, WV and David (Patricia Young) Porter of Jeffersonville; along with several nieces and nephews.

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, William Salifu; and brother, Dana Porter.

The family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 10-12 noon, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Milledgeville Plymouth Cemetery.
