Lynchburg

Everett Keith Bennett, age 70, of Lynchburg, passed peacefully in the early morning on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, after a valiant fight with cancer.

Born in Washington Court House on May 26, 1954, he was the son of the late Everett and Lois Maxine Borders Bennett.  Keith grew up in the Washington Court House area and was raised by Leah and Leroy Anders.

Keith is survived by his wife of nearly 25 years, Teresa Henthorn Bennett.  The two were united in marriage on September 3, 1999.

In 2009, Keith retired from Airborne.  He enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid football fan, an diehard fan of both the Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Bengals.  Keith was a real people person; he never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone.

In addition to his wife, Keith is survived by children: Tracey (Billy) Wolfe of Miamisburg, Dreema Bennett of Kettering, Chris Henthorn of Batavia, Tyler (Heather Howland) Henthorn and Justin (Latasha) Henthorn, all of Lynchburg.  Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Nick, Morgan, Brandon, Alexis, Brianna, Arianna, Braden, Christopher, Colton, Justin Wayne, Greyson, Garrett, Cody, John and Brooklyn; great grandchildren: Phoenix, Braxton, and Kingston; siblings: Norman Anders, Russell Bennett, Everett (Denise) Bennett, David (Tracy Ross) Bennett, Clara Bennett and Jodi Henthorn; along with his “favorite sister in-law” Lisa May (William) Reiley and a host of cherished friends.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are directed to do so to the funeral home to help with final expenses.

A visitation will be held at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 12Noon until 1pm, when a funeral service will begin.
