Gary Jordan Brooks, age 73, of Sabina, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Clinton Memorial Hospital.
Gary was born June 11, 1943, the son of Raymond and Audrey Jordan Brooks. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Karen Watson Brooks, on November 10, 2013.
After graduating high school, he entered the Army. After serving, he drove a truck for many years, and then worked at Ferno-Washington before retiring.
Gary is survived by his children, Tony (Pam) Leggett of Hurnando, MS., Candy (Chris) Barker of Fairborn, Teresa (Mark) Yoho of Washington C.H. and Christopher Leggett of Fairborn. Also left to cherish his memory are several grandchildren; a brother, Rick (Sharon) Brooks of Xenia; and a very special cousin, Karen (Tom) Deters of Sabina; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Sabina Cemetery, with Military Honors. Friends are welcome to visit with his family at Gary's home following the service.
