Gerald "Jerry" Preston

Gerald A. “Jerry” Preston, 81, of Chillicothe, passed away on Friday August 8, 2025 at the Adena Medical Center.

Born in Columbus, April 4, 1944, the son of Howard and Phyllis Preston.

Jerry is survived by his wife Mary Ellen DeBold Preston whom he married in 1967.

A 1962 graduate of Sabina High School, Jerry went on to serve in the Navy and had worked at Holliday Feeds and Carnation-Nestle Corporation. And was still working daily at their family business of Preston Window Tinting of Chillicothe.

He was a member of The American Legion #62, VFW of Chillicothe and the Am Vets Post 4 an enjoyed his E Bay sales and auctions.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his son, Blaine (Racquel) Preston of Chillicothe; granddaughter Chelsea (Travis) Clemmons and great-granddaughter Charlie Clemmons.  

Jerry was preceded in death by siblings Tom and Carolyn.  

Visitation will be held at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 11am - 1pm.  A graveside service at Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek, will follow.
