Geri (Walker) Barnett

Geri Barnett, age 71, of West Union, and formerly of Sabina, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

She was born April 7, 1951, in Mariemont, Ohio, the daughter of Edgar Thomas and Alice Cornwell Walker.

Geri is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dale, whom she married February 17, 1969.

A devoted homemaker, Geri had worked at the Adams County Hospital and Barnett Machine Shop. Geri enjoyed playing the Game of Trains, riding and touring on motorcycles, and most of all, being with her beloved family.

She is also survived by her children: Dorothy (Shawn) Campbell and Tonya (Geoff) Canby all of Wilmington. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Douglas (Jessica) Canby, Nicholas Canby, Curtis (Mindy) Canby, Tyler Spurlock, Caleb (Hannah Marie) Spurlock, Kyle Spurlock and Hannah Spurlock; several great grandchildren; siblings: Dorothy (William) Pence and Edgar Walker II; brother-in-law, Scott Back; along with several nieces and nephews.

Geri was preceded in death by a son, Dale E. Barnett Jr. and her sister, Nasa Back.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 5, 2022, from 5:00 until 7:00 P. M. at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where a funeral service will take place on Wednesday July 6, 2022, at 11:00 A.M.  Burial will follow at the Westboro Cemetery.
