Gladys L. Curliss, age 98, of Wilmington, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Born on June 30, 1927, she was the daughter of Curtis and Icy Hicks Wilson.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Curliss, in 2000.
A Locust Grove High School graduate, Gladys worked at the Syndicate Store for over 32 years and then in the Wilmington High School cafeteria for 9 years. She was member of the First Church of God in Wilmington.
Gladys is survived by her sons and their wives: Dan and Debbie Curliss of New Vienna and Gary and Pam Curliss of Brookville. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Sinamon (Ryan) Cluxton, Staci (Todd, dec.) Garrison, Megan Newman, Allyson (Steve) Tucker, Erin (Zack) Bailey and Ralph Curliss; and great-grandchildren: Austin, Israel, Ari, Sam, Liam, Danny, Xander, Craig, Elijah, Evan, and Aubrey Rose.
The last of her family, Gladys was preceded in death by siblings: Donald Wilson, Russell Wilson, Goldie Jones, and Sylvia Offenbacker.
Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 11-12Noon, when a funeral service will begin. Burial to follow at Clinton Memory Gardens.
