Gloria Jean (Inlow) Lunsford

Gloria Jean Lunsford, age 59, of Midland, passed peacefully at home, in her sleep, on Friday morning, July 17, 2020.

Born in Wilmington, on December 14, 1960, she was the daughter of Linda E. Livingston Inlow (Donald E.) Curtis of Wilmington and Richard Dale (Anna B.) Inlow of Midland.

A 1979 graduate of Blanchester High School, Gloria was currently working in maintenance and engineering services at Airborne.

Her friends and family would describe her as patient, kind, loving, caring and hard working.  Her son in-law described her as the toughest and sweetest person he ever knew.  Gloria cherished her family and, starting at an early age, always took care of everyone around her.  One of her siblings referred to her as “the best of the bunch”.  She loved her grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.  Gloria lived a life that Christ would be proud of and we know she now walks with the angels.

She is survived by her husband, Zane Lunsford of Midland.

Also left to cherish her memory is their daughter and son in-law, Garie and Ryan Briggs, and their children, Andrew Kenneth and Demi Jean Briggs.

Gloria is also survived by sister: Karen (Danny) Vance of Sabina; half-siblings: Mark (Michelle) Inlow of Littletown, PA, Mike (Marlynn) Inlow of Midland and Michelle Inlow of Blanchester; step-siblings: Vickie (Jerry) Rayson of Wilmington, and Jeani Ross of Hamilton; sister in-law Georgi (Chris Davies) Lunsford of Wilmington; brother in-law Howie (Nari) Lunsford of Wilmington; and many nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: Kenny Inlow and Dewayne Inlow; step-brother, Steve Ross; and her beloved mother and father in-law, Anna Mae and Howard Lunsford, who loved her like their own.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina on Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 2-4pm.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 20, at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at New Antioch Cemetery.
