Helen Chloe McFadden, age 89, of Lees Creek, passed peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at The Christ Hospital.
Born in Greenup, Kentucky on July 26, 1936, she was the daughter of Mitchell and Stella Hieneman Gullett.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Roger McFadden, who passed May 24, 2013.
A member of the first graduating class of Simon Kenton High School, Helen was a cheerleader and the Homecoming Queen. Helen went on to work as Secretary to the Superintendent at Simon Kenton. She later worked for FERNO, as Secretary to the Vice President of International Sales.
Helen was a member of the Sabina Church of Christ. She was happiest visiting her family, especially her great-grandchildren, taking family trips to Lake Cumberland and spending time with friends, socializing.
Helen saw the very best in every person that crossed paths with her. She was very welcoming and took pleasure in other’s happiness. Even in her own physical pain, she found blessings. She offered her love without limits and with endless energy – never missing a sporting event or program that her beloved grand and great grandchildren were a part of.
Helen leaves behind a legacy of love and an endless lifetime of smiles. She is now receiving her blessed reward in Heaven for a well lived life.
She is survived by children: Chari Young of Dublin, Catherine (Tom) Stuck of Lancaster, and Michael (Susan) McFadden of Lees Creek.
