Israel Guerra Jr.

Israel Guerra Jr., age 86, of Sabina, passed away on July 8, 2024, at the Miami Valley Medical Center.

Born July 1, 1938, in Rio Grande City, Texas, he was the son of Israel Sr and Lilly Rodrigues Guerra.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Hoover Guerra.

After high school he attended Pam Am College and served in the Army, before retiring as a Sargent 1st Class after 36 years and served in the Reserves. After retirement from the armed forces, he worked at Walmart for over 20 years. Spending his time between Texas for the winter and Ohio for the summers, he always enjoyed riding motorcycles especially with the GWRRA Gold Wing Club.

Israel is survived by his children; Bernadiee Guerra of Austin, Texas and Jerome Guerra of Sabina. Also, surviving is a sister Lilly Henkel of Jarrell, Texas.

Visitation will be on Thursday at Littleton Funeral Home from 11:00am, until the time of a Rosary service at 12:30pm. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Milledgeville -Plymouth Cemetery.
