Ivah L. Wallace

Ivah Lou Wallace, age 95, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, at home surrounded by family.

Born February 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Sol and Lelia Smith of Fayette County.

Ivah attended and graduated from Wayne High School in Good Hope. While attending high school, she met Virgil E. Wallace. They were married March 15, 1950, and celebrated 75 years this year.

The two lived in Kettering for a short time and then moved to Jamestown in 1957. They built their lives with three sons: Don (Teri) Wallace, Ron (Nancy) Wallace and Marc (Cyndi) Wallace; and a daughter, Lori Wallace.

In addition to her husband and children, Ivah leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, who she loved dearly through the years. She will be missed by many throughout the Jamestown community.

Family will receive friends at the Jamestown Church of Christ on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 11am until the time of service at 1pm. Burial will follow at Silvercreek II Cemetery. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
