James A. Dennis

James A. Dennis, age 75, of Sabina, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

Born on April 11, 1949, in Greenfield, he was the son of the late Crosby Daniel and Blanche Colburn Dennis.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Knisley Dennis, who passed March 24, 2022.

He retired from Armco.  Jim was a diehard Ohio State Buckeyes football fan.  He enjoyed fishing, drawing and American muscle cars.

Left to cherish his memory are daughters: Dr. Jamie (Thom Nickely) Dennis of Brunswick, Maine, and Morgan (Ryan Minton) Dennis of Hillsboro; siblings: Tommy (Lynn, dec.) Dennis and Norman (Patty) Dennis; along with several nieces and nephews, including Cheryl Dennis, JR Hicks, and Tara and Keith Zurface; and beloved fur friends: Doolin the Lab and Cairo the cat.

In addition to his wife, Jim was preceded in death by their daughter, Amy; and Moses the dog.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 4-5pm, when a celebration of life will begin.  Everyone is encouraged to wear their OSU Buckeye attire, in honor of Jim’s unwavering devotion for his favorite team.
