James E. Kincaid, age 66, of Greenfield, passed at home on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
Born in Clinton County on September 20, 1953, he was the son of the late Max and Ruth Freeland Kincaid.
Jim attended Greenfield Schools. He worked in construction as a carpenter and general handyman. To those who knew him, he was known as a “man of many, many trades”. Jim was a pro at “wheeling and dealing”…even looking for the best deal in his final days. He was happiest spending time with his beloved grandchildren, that he adored. Before his passing, Jim gave himself to the Lord.
He is survived by his children: Jennifer Kincaid (Bryan) Brown of Port William, Amanda Kincaid of Maysville, KY, Billy Penwell of Greenfield, and Courtney Kincaid of Strasburg, VA. Also left to cherish Jim’s memory are grandchildren: Dallas, Jacob, Patience, Keyauna, Carsyn and Kylie Jo; great granddaughters: Jaylynn, Alayna, and Lydia; brothers: Jack (Lisa) Kincaid of Greenfield and Robert (Lynette) Kincaid of Leesburg; sister, Margaret (John) Barrett of Leesburg; and significant other, Helen Kincaid of Piketon.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Kincaid, and a niece, Bobbie Sue Kincaid.
The family will host a Celebration of Life from 4-7pm on September 27, 2020, at Good Shepard Church (12920 St Rt 28, Greenfield). Those wishing to bring Jim's favorite covered dish are welcome.
Littleton Funeral Home of Sabina has been entrusted with arrangements.
