Jason J. Borton passed away from natural causes early Sunday morning June 26,2022. Born in Washington Court House on February 1, 1972, he was 50 years old.
Jason loved life and loved cooking for others. He always joked how he was the 'Master Chef' and was always having his family and friends try his creations. His favorite childhood memories were growing up on the farm and living on Gurneyville Road, where his uncle owned a farm. Jason was once an avid Michigan fan, but thanks to his wife, Lana, he was converted back to Ohio State several years before his passing. Jason loved to work with his hands and worked in construction for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald G. Borton of Wilmington and grandparents, Herbert & Elsie Borton of Wilmington and Roy & Doris Arrasmith of Sabina.
Surviving are mother. Diane & Bill Anders of Sabina; sister Lisa & husband Mark Cutler of Greenfield; nephews Jordan Hardy of Columbus and Justin Cutler of Greenfield; Aunt Joyce Arrasmith of Sabina; wife Lana Ross Borton of Sabina; stepdaughters Beth & Seth Vickers of Sabina and Erica & Corey Cochran of Martinsville; several step grandchildren; 2 natural born sons; one granddaughter; along with a special friend, Jennifer Pennington of Wilmington.
Jason will be cremated; family and close friends will be gathering for a celebration of life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated, for the funeral and memorial stone expenses, to Littleton Funeral Home, in Sabina, who has been entrusted with arrangements for the family.
