Jeffrey D. Vanscoy

Jeffrey Vanscoy, age 63, of Sabina, Ohio, passed away on April 14, 2026, at 5:52 AM at Miami Valley Hospital. Jeff had his first birthday in Heaven today. He is with our Lord & Savior Jesus.

Jeff was born on October 9, 1962, in Wilmington, Ohio to Earl & Dorothy Vanscoy.

Jeff was a God-fearing man that taught a lot of people about the Lord. He attended Carpenters House of Prayer in Hillsboro. He loved his Pastor, Kimble Zornes, and all of the members of the church.

He loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Chicago Bears. Jeff coached football as a defense coach for East Clinton Football, his second home for 17 years. He enjoyed the game but always taught young men how to be a better man in life. All his coaches were very much loved and respected by Jeff. He loved weightlifting, cooking and grilling. He took great pleasure in helping others, never knew a stranger, and had a good, loving heart.

Jeff worked at Airborne Express and then received his Journeyman title to become an electrician for SME. He was also retired from Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

He was a loving husband to his wife, Linda, for 29 years.

Jeff is survived by his 5 children: Jeremiah (Miranda) Vanscoy, Joshua Clutter, Michael L. (Khadija) Vanscoy, Steven Clutter, and Shannon Duclos, twelve grandchildren: Madison, Gracelyn, Noelle, Alyssa, Maddie, Myah, Isabella, Mason, Michael, Lindsey, Trent, and Gunner.

He also leaves behind a brother, Todd (Jennifer Seward) Vanscoy, of Martinsville; sister, Paula Johnson, of New Vienna; and many loving football players and coaches, best friends, a big church family, and many coworkers.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Earl, and his brother, Joshua Vanscoy.

He was an organ donor and he was able to give a special liver to someone who needed one. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at Littleton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with Kim Zornes officiating. Burial will follow at the Sabina Cemetery, Sabina.
