John Lee Bosier

John Lee Bosier, age 74, of Sabina, passed away unexpectedly at Clinton Memorial on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Born in Martinsville on September 9, 1949, he was the son of the late Mary (Camp) and Gordon Bosier, Sr.

John is survived by his loving wife, Mary Shoemaker Bosier.  The two were united in marriage on January 27, 1968.

He graduated from Wilmington High School and went on to work at Melvin Stone.  After 43 years, John retired as purchasing manager.  He enjoyed camping, motorcycles, and had a true passion for racing cars.  For over 25 years, John raced cars and was even inducted into the Kil-Kare Speedway Hall of Fame.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons: Joey (Michelle) Bosier, Randy (Christie) Bosier, Jeremy (Sarah) Bosier.  Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Brittany Seiter, Zack (Shelbi Bowling) Bosier, Dylan Bosier, Sydney Bosier, and Hunter Bosier; great grandchildren: Zoey, J.J., Peyton, Greyson, and Rory; sisters: Beverly Runk and Elizabeth (John) Storer; and brother, Gordon (Wanda) Bosier, Jr., along with a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by brothers: Rodney ‘Skip’, Charles and Tom Bosier.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 11-1pm.  A graveside service, at Sabina Cemetery, will follow visitation.
