K (Shoemaker) Long

K Long, 84, of Jamestown, passed away on Saturday morning at the home of her daughter.

Born October 11. 1936 the daughter of Arthur and Geneva Carter Shoemaker

She loved to read and watch sports on TV she was a high school graduate and very proud of the fact that she had gone onto college. She had retired after 40 plus years in home health care.

She is survived by her children: Edie (Darryl) Ewing of Jamestown, Debra Long of Wilmington, Kenneth (Millie) Long of Hillsboro, Terrin (Billie Jo) Long of Blanchester and Richard (Christy) Long of Sabina. Also left to cherish her memory are 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and a brother Bruce Shoemaker.

She was preceded by grandchildren: Digger McCormick and Eva Inlow.

A celebration of life will be held August 8, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the home of Edie and Darryl Ewing, 2104 Port William Rd. Jamestown. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina has been entrusted with arrangements.
