Katherine ‘Shelly’ Ellison, age 37, passed unexpectedly at her home in Bowersville on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
Born in Xenia, Ohio on April 15, 1978, she is the daughter of Gary and Kay (Meeker) Ellison, of Bowersville.
Shelly was a Greenview High School graduate, a member of the Bowersville Village Council and the Bowersville Women’s Group. She enjoyed gardening, especially day lilies, with her mom, spending time with her nieces, coloring and art work.
In addition to her parents, Shelly is survived by her fiancé, Jason Pitts, and her sons, Hunter and Dakota Ellison. Also left to cherish her memory is her sister, Angie Ellison Wisecup; brother, James Brooks; nieces, Jackie, Savannah, and Jenna Wisecup; and numerous other family members.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, from 12 Noon – 1:30pm, when a funeral service will begin. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bowersville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
